From our point of view, the following speed cubes are ideally suited for beginners as their solving algorithms are not overly complex:

3x3 speed cubes for beginners

Many speedcubers disagree on whether there really is such a thing as entry-level speed cubes. Why? Because the selection and assessment of a speed cube depends heavily on the personal preference of the cuber. That is also why we agree that there is no such thing as THE 3x3 cube for a beginner. However, for beginners, the price of a cube could play a big part in the decision. If you are not quite sure yet whether speedcubing is the right hobby for you, we recommend choosing low-cost 3x3 cubes.

MoYu MoFang JiaoShi (MFJS) / Cubing Classroom

So, if you are looking for a budget cube, we recommend, for example, the speed cubes from MoFang JiaoShi (abbr. MFJS), also known as Cubing Classroom. These cubes are a sub-brand of MoYu. In the 3x3 magic cube range, you can currently find these products in our assortment:

Though these cubes are not quite at the same price level as the ones made by MoFang JiaShi (MFJS), they are still reasonable compared to other 3x3 cubes. And, with Monster Go, GAN has created a series of budget cubes specifically for beginners.
