Speed cube patterns

Speed cubes are not just for speedsolving you can also create cool patterns on them. There are tons of great speed cube patterns out there. We have put together a selection of patterns for the 3x3 speed cube. On this page, you will find 12 simple and slightly more complicated speed cube patterns.

Under Speed Cube Notation, you can learn how to read the algorithms correctly. You will need this understanding of notations to create patterns on your cube.

Patterns for 3x3 speed cubes

Always start with a solved speed cube. If you would like to undo the speed cube pattern, simply retrace each step in reverse order and turn in the opposite direction. In the beginning, we recommend you start with the simpler speed cube patterns.
